Michael Knaggs joins us from Sygnature Discovery Ltd. Mischa van Kesteren joins following his support role at PROACT

We are delighted that OCF is starting off 2013 by welcoming two new members to the team.  Michael Knaggs joins us from Sygnature Discovery Ltd and brings with him a wealth of High Performance Computing (HPC) experience to our engineering team.   He holds a PhD in Molecular Simulation from the University of London and his career path as a scientist has fuelled his interest in HPC and GPUs for over ten years.  He told me that in his new role of HPC storage specialist, he is looking forward to a hands-on approach to working with advanced HPC technology at OCF.

Mischa van Kesteren joins our pre-sales engineering team this month following his support role at PROACT.  He holds a Politics and Economics degree from York University.  He is looking forward to working with the latest cutting-edge HPC technology and will be working with Andrew Dean and the rest of his team.  Mischa plays for the Sheffield Suns basketball team, so OCF may have a basketball star in the making!

Michael and Mischa will be taking advantage of OCF’s training programme and will both be completing a series of IBM certifications to develop their skills further.  Welcome to both of you!
